About Ringgold Park
Ringgold is a charming neighborhood park first established in 1973. This park is nestled downtown, between the Bates-Hendricks and Fountain Square neighborhoods. The playground was updated in 2023 as part of the City’s $16 million investment in new playgrounds using American Rescue Plan funding. The new playground features a slide, climbing structure, rubberized turf surfacing, an adaptive swing set, and a seesaw. More amenities include benches and a natural space teeming with native plants and bird boxes to invite local wildlife into the park thanks to a partnership with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
