About Marott Woods
Marott Woods, founded in 1961, spans over 102 acres on the north side of Indianapolis. This park is purposely kept in its original wild state for a true nature experience in an urban environment. It features a nature reserve teeming with native wildlife, offering a shelter and extensive unpaved trails and woods. The park is bordered on the west by College Ave, the east by the Monon Trail, and the south by a channel of the White River, making it a central hub for enjoying the outdoors.
