The holiday season is a great time to cozy up indoors and have some creative fun! Indy Parks has some upcoming holiday arts and craft events where you can come to make a masterpiece and take it home. What will you create?
Adult Arts & Crafts: Yuletide Wreath at Broad Ripple Park
Dec. 6 | 7 – 8pm | $30
Just in time for the holidays we will be making festive Yuletide wreaths from fresh pine branches. Basic supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring additional bling and decorations to make your wreath unique to you! Learn more and register to make a Yuletide Wreath.
Holiday Pop-up Cards at Garfield Park Arts Center
Dec. 7 & 14 | 1 – 3pm | $25
What can be more special than creating your own pop-up holiday greeting cards for your loved ones this holiday season? Come and make some hand-cut collage art greeting cards with local paper artist/illustrator Shelley Hanmo at these holiday craft events. The instructor will show you several greeting card designs that are fun and easy to make. You will be learning how to cut out shapes from paper using mostly repurposed paper materials such as magazines, paper bags, mailing catalogs, and more. Little Gardeners: Potpourri at Broad Ripple Park
Dec. 20 | 6-7pm | $11
Kids ages 3-7 are invited to Broad Ripple Park to create homemade potpourri, hand printed wrapping paper, and cinnamon ornaments. Learn more and register for the potpourri workshop.

Celebrate the season at one of Indy Parks’ gingerbread house making events! This year events will be held at Broad Ripple Park, Thatcher Park, Indiana World Sports Park, and Krannert Park that will conclude in a citywide gingerbread house contest.
