INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Parks will host a lineup of Haunted Houses and Halloween-themed events at parks across the city in the leadup to October 31. - Haunted Conservatory at Garfield Park Conservatory October 23 & 24
- 5:30 – 7 pm | Less Haunted Conservatory. Bring the little ones in their costumes for Halloween fun during our less scary daylight hours of the Haunted Conservatory. There will be no scarers. Just tropical plants all decked out for Halloween.
- 7 – 9 pm | Get spooked as you walk through the Haunted Conservatory, complete with scary music, decorations, and ghouls! (recommended for ages 8+)
- No pre-registration; admission is paid at the door. Note: Event includes the use of strobe lights and artificial fog.
- Haunted House at Ellenberger Park October 24-26 5 to 9 pm
- Come on out to Ellenberger Park for an evening of SPOOKTACULAR fun! Treat goodie bags will be given to those who are BRAVE enough to make it through the haunted house. A special Halloween keychain will be available for the first 100 visitors. Ellenberger Haunted House is a 3 Day Event!

- Haunted House at Indy Island Aquatic Center October 26 & 27 5 to 9 pm
- Visit Indy Island Aquatic Center for an evening at the SCARIEST haunted house in Indy Parks! Lights off from 5pm to 9pm for those who can handle a good fright. Dare to enter our haunted house filled with spine-chilling screams, dark corridors and lurking shadows. The event will also include a treat bag and a special Halloween keychain will be available for the first 100 visitors.
- Spooky Skate, Perry Park October 26 at 6 to 7:30 pm & 7:30 to 9 pm
- Join us for the ‘coolest’ Halloween party around! Food, games, costume contest, and of course – ice skating!! So much fun, it’s scary!! Drop-in only – no advanced purchase. Co-sponsored by Sycamore Ice Skating Club and the Backcheck Foundation.
- Regular sessions: 3 pm and 8 pm – $15 at the door (no reservations). Sensory Friendly session: 6 pm – Free with registration
- **NOTE – “Skating-friendly” costumes are optional. Masks must not impede vision in any way. Capes, cloaks, dresses, etc. should not drag on the ground so as not to get caught in skates. No weapons (real or fake) are permitted in the building. No carried accessories allowed on the ice.
- Krannert Trunk or Treat, Krannert Park October 26 at 1 pm
- Get ready for a spook-tacular evening of Halloween fun at our Trunk or Treat Extravaganza! This family-friendly event promises a bewitching blend of creative car trunks, delightful treats, and festive activities.
- Halloween at Riverside, Riverside Park October 25 at 6:30 pm
- Need a fun safe place for your little ones to trick or treat! Join us at Riverside Park for a Boo-tastic time!!!
- Hauntless Halloween, Holliday Park October 24-26 at various times
- Join Holliday Park Staff and actors from Booth Tarkington Civic Theater for an enchantingly fun evening! Families hike along candlelit trails and interact with different forest creatures who can magically speak for the night, then return to the nature center for a campfire, refreshments and activities. New characters debut this fall!
