About Acton Park

Action Park sits in the far southeast portion of Marion County and Franklin Township. The park is just over 21 acres of greenspace and forest and was acquired by Indy Parks in 2004.

Did You Know

From 1859 to 1905 the area was part of the Acton Campground site that hosted thousands of visitors including former Presidential Candidate Williams Jennings Bryan. Unfortunately, many of the amenities were destroyed in a 1905 fire.
