Located in the Butler Tarkington Neighborhood, Andrew Ramsey Park was established in 1971 and sits on about 2 acres of land. This neighborhood park offers a splash pad and playground along with picnic tables and a covered shelter. The park’s splash pad is being renovated in 2024 with funding from Indy Parks’ capital budget.

Did you know?

The park is named after Butler University graduate Andrew Ramsey who served as a high school teacher in Indianapolis. Ramsey was also an active member of the community as a member of the NAACP, Indianapolis Urban League, Art Museum Council, and American Civil Liberties Union.
