Bellamy Park

About

Located on the city’s far east side, Bellamy Park is 7 acres of greenspace bordering Grassy Creek and IPS School #102. The park has a shelter, playground and swing set, comfort station and open green space. Bellamy Park will be receiving a new playground thanks to funding from the Lilly Endowment Grant with construction scheduled to begin in 2025.

Bellamy Park was named after Francis Bellamy, who is credited with writing the Pledge of Allegiance in 1892.
