About Doris Cowherd Park
Established in 1956, this 2.5 acre park on the northeast side offers a playground, swing set, and a shelter. As part of a partnership with the Department of Metropolitan Development, the park is currently closed for construction. New amenities will include a playground, paved trail, and a flex lawn with space for soccer. An overview of the project can be viewed below.
