Pogues Run was once a stream named for pioneer settler George Pogue. Pogues Run Trail runs 2.4 miles beginning in Brookside Park. The trail follows a waterway, passes through historic neighborhoods and wetlands, and features public art projects.
Once complete, it will run 5.3 miles beginning at Pogues Run Art and Nature Park and extend southwest toward downtown to 10th St. and Arsenal Tech High School. At 10th St., the trail will connect to Monon Trail and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
