About Southside Park
Discover the charm of Southside Park, first established in 1966 and spanning just under 8 acres. This park features playground equipment, basketball courts, softball diamonds, a shelter, and football fields for all to enjoy.
Southside Park received a $2 million investment from the Lilly Endowment Grant to install a new playground, adult fitness equipment, and new pickleball and basketball courts. Construction is set to wrap up in December 2025 when the weather allows.
