Pools and Splash Pads

Indy Parks pools and splash pads are opening up for the summer. Updated information will be posted on this page as changes occur.

The following pools are scheduled to open on Saturday, May 25: 

  • Brookside Park: 3500 Brookside Pkwy S. Drive 
  • Ellenberger Park: 5301 E. St Clair St. 
  • Frederick Douglass Park: 1425 E. 25th St. 
  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Park: 1702 N. Broadway St. 
  • Sahm Park: 6801 E 91st St  
  • Krannert Park’s indoor pool: 605 S High School Rd 

Pools will be open Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day weekend. They will close for testing and maintenance checks Tuesday through Thursday.  

Pools open for Memorial Day Weekend will have the following hours of operation: 

  • Saturday 11am to 6pm 
  • Sunday 12pm to 6pm 
  • Monday 11am to 6pm 

The second wave of pools will open June 1. Pools opening June 1 will be open six days a week and closed on Mondays.

The pools scheduled to open starting June 1 are: 

Broad Ripple Park: 1500 Broad Ripple Ave. 

Brookside Park: 3500 Brookside Pkwy S. Drive 

Frederick Douglass Park: 1425 E. 25th St. 

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Park: 1702 N. Broadway St. 

Eagle Creek Beach: 7840 W. 56th St. 

Ellenberger Park: 5301 E. St Clair St. 

Garfield Park: 2450 S. Shelby St. 

Gustafson Park: 3110 Moller Road 

Indy Island: 8300 E. Raymond St. – lap pool only 

Krannert Park: 605 S. High School Road 

Northwestway Park: 5253 W. 62nd St. 

Rhodius Park: 1720 W. Wilkins St. 

Stanley Strader Park: 2850 Bethel Ave. 

Starting June 1 pools will be open 11-6pm Tuesdays-Thursdays, 11-8pm Fridays, 11-6pm Saturdays, and 12-6pm Sundays.


The following splash pads are currently open:

  • Bel Aire Park
  • Bertha Ross Park
  • Carson Park
  • Christian Park
  • Clayton & LaSalle Park
  • Frank & Judy O’Bannon Park
  • Grassy Creek Park
  • Haughville Park
  • Jake Greene Park
  • Riverwood Park
  • Stout Field Park
  • Wes Montgomery Park
  • Wildwood Park
  • Willard Park

*Andrew Ramsey, Krannert, and Municipal Gardens splash pads will open once park construction projects allow.

*Arsenal, Windsor Village, Tarkington, Holliday, Dan Wakefield, and Centennial and Groff are undergoing maintenance and will open in the coming weeks.
