Since 2013, the Indy Parks Meals Program has served over 3 million meals to our community. In 2023, Indy Parks provided 191,396 meals to residents across the city.

Indy Parks Food Pantries
- Riverside Park Food Pantry: Wednesday, 12:45-3pm
- Windsor Village Park Food Pantry: Thursday, 1-3pm
- The Windsor Village Pantry requires proof of Marion County residency.
Drive & Dish Program
As of November 5th, all Drive and Dish locations are at capacity and cannot accept new participants at this time.
The Drive & Dish Program is a partnership between Indy Parks, Gleaners, and the Pacers Foundation to help combat food insecurity in Indianapolis. After visiting a park to register for the program, residents can order groceries during a weekly ordering window and then pick up their order later that week at the park.
After School Meal Service
- Open to all youth 18 and under; they must be present and eat the meal on-site
- Available Monday through Friday
- Free, no registration necessary

- Rhodius Park – 1720 W. Wilkins St: Tuesday through Friday, 4-5pm
- Windsor Village Park – 6510 E 25th St: Monday through Friday, 5-6pm
Mobile Youth Serving Sites: Monday through Thursday
- East 38th St Library – 5420 E 38th St: 3-3:20pm
- Brightwood Library – 2434 N Sherman Dr: 3:50-4:10pm
- Haughville Library – 2121 W Michigan St: 5-5:20pm (This site is temporarily closed as the Library is under construction until November 16th.)
Second Helpings Programs
Indy Parks serves free meals and/or sandwiches to residents at select park locations through the generosity of Second Helpings. All parks serve food while supplies last.
Parks that offer free meals:
- Brookside Park: Monday through Friday,4-6 pm
- Christian Park: Monday trough Friday at 4pm while supplies last
- Frederick Douglass Park: Monday to Friday at 3:30pm while supplies last
- Pride Park: Monday through Friday from 3-7pm and Saturday 11am-3pm
- Watkins Park: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11am while supplies last
Parks that offer free sandwiches:
- Riverside Park: Sandwiches are available for students after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Stanley Strader Park: sandwiches are available Monday to Friday from 2-4pm
Summer Meal Service
- This program has concluded for the 2025 year. Check back next spring for updates on the 2026 summer meals program!
- Open to ALL youth 18 and under, they must be present and eat the meal on-site.

How to Get Involved
Brookside Park Food Drive
Drop-off dates: November 1-19
Brookside Park is hosting a food drive at the Park Family Center from November 1-19 to provide nonperishable food for local families over the Thanksgiving Holiday break. Residents can drop off nonperishable food donations Monday to Friday from noon to 7:30 pm at the Brookside Park Family Center, 3500 Brookside Parkway S Dr.
Krannert Park Food Drive
Drop-off dates: Entire month of November
The Krannert Park Fall Food Drive is available all November long to benefit Gleaner’s Food Bank. Donations can be made at the Family Center (605 S. High School Rd.) during regular hours.
