About Christian Park
Established in 1921 and consisting of 73 acres, Christian Park is located on the near east side along Pleasant Run Creek. This park offers playground equipment, a spray pool, football fields, softball diamonds, basketball and tennis courts, horseshoes, shelters, and a recreation center. Programs available at Christian Park include youth sports, after-school programs, summer camps, and senior activities. The park is partially wooded and includes several trails.
The park will be receiving playground upgrades thanks to funding from the Lilly Endowment.
