About the Town Run Trail
Discover the thrills of Town Run Trail Park, one of two metropolitan off-road mountain biking hotspots in the Indy Parks system. This park welcomes bikers, trail runners, hikers, fishing enthusiasts, and those seeking to connect with nature. With a seven mile loop of dirt trails, which including areas to shorten the distance, this 127-acre natural resource park offers countless recreation opportunities for the north side of Indianapolis. The trail offers beginner and intermediate level terrain that is fun for the whole family!
The trail changes direction based on the day of the week, so please be mindful and check the signage when you visit the park.

- Natural surface trails
- Log overs and other built features
- Rock gardens
- A whole lot of fun!
Members from the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association volunteer their time and skills for installation and maintenance of this park trail, and the trail itself was made possible through generous donations from Martin Marietta Aggregates, Mr. Oliver Dougherty, and R.N. Thompson Associates Inc.
