About the Eclipse at Indy Parks

A Total Eclipse of the Parks Presented by AES Indiana

On April 8, 2024, at 3:06 pm, Indianapolis will be in the path of totality for a total solar eclipse! That means we will see the total eclipse for more than 3 minutes! What better way to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event than outside at your favorite Indy Park?

While all 216 Indy Parks locations will remain open to the public on April 8, 12 parks will serve as featured eclipse watch sites. Pre-registration is required for these 12 sites as parking is limited. Solar eclipse glasses will be provided to registrants while supplies last. Bring your chairs, blankets, pack a picnic, and plan to stay awhile before and after totality.

Find your favorite spot in the park and enjoy the show!
